Can I go back and synchronize my pubcast after I already published it?
Use the following steps for accessing your pubcast and adding synchronization after already publishing it:
1) Login to SciVee with an active account.
2) Click on the orange "Upload" link at the top center of the page.
3) Under "Completed projects" near the bottom of the page, you will see a listing of the pubcasts that you have already published.
4) Click on "synchronize."
5) Beneath the video, click and drag to move the play head to the part of the video that you would like to add text or figures from you paper.
6) Highlight a part of text from the paper or click the figures tab and highlight a figure that you would like to have appear at that point in the audio or video and click the green plus sign on the left. Your selected text or figure will be added to that part of the video and appear as a rectangular clip in the timeline.
7) You can click and drag to move the clip to any other part of the timeline or you can extend it to appear for a longer duration by clicking and dragging the arrow. You also can delete the clip from the timeline by clicking the small "x" on the clip.
8) Add and adjust as many text clips or figure clips to the timeline as you like and once you are satisfied, click "save" and "finish" 9) You will be prompted to complete the process just like you did when you first created your pubcast. Follow the steps through to the end as before and your pubcast will appear with the synchronized text and figures that you added.
10) Review your work and reedit as needed.
