Will the subscribers of my community know when I post a new discussion or reply?

To set up auto-email notification to community and group members, managers and administers can go to their community edit tab and scroll down to "Discussion options." Then, under "Send a notification to the subscribers:" they can choose from the following options: "if a new thread is posted" and/or "if a new reply is posted." Based on your preferences, you can click one or both. All of the people in the community or group will begin to receive email notifications.

If you belong to a group, but want to override the email notification that was specified by the community manager or administrator, you can manage your subscriptions by taking the following steps:

1. Rollover the "Community" button at the top of the page
2. Click "My Communities"
3. Next to the community that you want to change your notifications, in the Manage column, click "my subscription"
4. Choose the correct radio button based on your preference.
